This is a bittersweet (95% bitter) list of the running footnotes in Garrison Keillor&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Lake-Wobegon-Days-Garrison-Keillor\/dp\/B00128KE2S\/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&#038;qid=1511454225&#038;sr=8-3&#038;keywords=lake+wobegon+days\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lake Wobegon Days<\/a>. It&#8217;s one of my favorite things, since my own religious heritage is remarkably similar to Garrison&#8217;s, right down to the little fundamentalist Christian sect he grew up in (the Plymouth Brethren), a twig off the same branch as the twig (River Brethren > Missionary Church) where I attended with my parents and sisters.
