Our local newspaper, The Leader, did a great feature about her work with the Boiler Room, our town sanctuary for teens and young adults, also a working coffee shop and performance venue.
(Our BuVu Founder, Niels, and his son, Silas, were also great benefactors of The Boiler Room, helping them remodel and decorate their current digs.)

P.S. I’m not at all above tooting MY horn. Gigi has offered me a spot on the Boiler Room Advisory Board. This fits perfectly into my new mantra, “Bless the Beasts and the Children,” so I’m going to do it. One of these days I’m going to make it into the big leagues of Do-Goodery, like the other BuFoons already are. At least I’ll keep trying. It may be impossible.
