BuFoons, it’s been a long while since I found a book I actually wanted to finish. Maybe I’m just losing focus; jaded from a lifetime misspent reading when I should have been outside, doing yardwork or rotating the tires.
Whatever. I have finally found a book (see above) that I will finish. In fact, I’m metering it out a chapter at a sitting, because lord knows when I’ll find another book this entertaining and, as a bonus, edifying. You and I both know that a book with the words “Slut” and “Friend to Man and Dog” in the title must automatically be presumed to be edifying.
Imagine how astonished I was to find the following passage in a chapter called “The Devil I Know Is the Man Upstairs:”
