I heard Paul Thorn on PRI’s Bob Edwards’ Weekend. This guy is a righteous blend of shadow and light, fighter and lover. Former boxer and troublemaker, now a rocking bluesman who “preaches” mercy and forgiveness, he understands how much he was loved and schooled by both his preacher father and pimp/boxer uncle.
