While assembling this website makeover I came across a lonely fragment of the original ORIGINAL WEBSITE. This is a bittersweet (95% bitter) list of the running footnotes in Garrison Keillor’s Lake Wobegon Days. It’s one of my favorite things, since my own religious heritage is remarkably similar to Garrison’s, right down to the little fundamentalist Christian sect he grew up in (the Plymouth Brethren), a twig off the same branch as the twig (River Brethren > Missionary Church) where I attended with my parents and sisters.
